Are former coppers Chris & Anthony McNeil in favour of Public Inquiry in how police handled PORTAPIQUE shooter ?

A lot of people in Nova Scotia want a Public Inquiry as to how the police handled the Portapique shooter over the years.

But some Nova Scotians, many with friends or family who were in the police force, don’t.

 ‘Let sleeping dogs lie’, ‘think nothing but kind thoughts’.

(A variant on the old old old Nova Scotia political warning about starting investigations into road politics : that there is always plenty of dirt under the gravel.)

I’d love to know, in particular, how retired policemen Anthony & Chris McNeil feel about calls for such a Public Inquiry —— and have they communicated their feelings to their brother.

You know that guy, the one who still hasn’t called a Public Inquiry yet....
