Former Liberal Justice Minister Anne McLellan is very very Liberal : want to bet what party this Liberal lifer’s mom, dad and siblings supported ardently ?
Former Fredericton police chief Leanne Fitch is a lifelong cop : want to know what her dad did for a living ?
Federal Liberal Minister Bill Blair is a lifer cop : want to guess what his dad did for a living ?
former NS chief justice J Michael MacDonald, a patronage appointment to the bench , is a lifer lawyer : want to guess what his kids do for a living ?
Provincially Liberal Premier Stephen McNeil is NOT a cop or lawyer : but do you want to know what his mom, brothers, sisters in law etc did for a living ? Or under what party his mom got her sheriff’s job ?
Currently I can’t find out the parentage of Michael MacDonald or Mark Furey re whether they were cops, lawyers or Liberals : I do know MacDonald himself was hyper-Grit Dave Dingwall’s bagman ( enough said) and that Mark is a current Liberal MLA and former lifer RCMP officer ....
