I can see a “Let’s GOP for a JOE!” button being a huge hit south of the 49....

Not since a sizeable percentage of normally strong Democrats ‘put on a button’ for Republican presidential Eisenhower in the early 1950s, have so many Americans abandoned their life-long party to vote for - even work for - its opponent.

It may even turn out to be the most interesting aspect of the upcoming American slogfest for foreign observers : because the ultra high level of America partisanship simply doesn’t exist anywhere else in the world anymore...
