For Nova Scotian G Wortman, hard to get illegal gun from USA : but for the New Brunswick G Wortman ? Piece of cake !

There really isn’t a border between Maine and New Brunswick, not at least in the sense of those  dreaded borders and border guards you recall from all those old spy movies.

Porous is the term that comes to mind, porous and fluid, particularly back in the old days.

Doesn’t hurt either that northern Maine has a Libertarian, anti-government regulations streak either.

*New Brunswick*, dear folks in the J-Biz, as I have said many times, is where this news story really sugars off.

Getting guns across that border, friendly New Brunswicker visiting good ole buddy in Maine & vice versa ,was a piece of cake.

Maybe still is.

Don’t look ( for God’s Sake !) dark or foreign or poor, and Bob’s your Uncle.

If I were hiring a courier to smuggle a missile across the border, the guy I’d hire would be a local, a medical or legal professional, a millionaire, perhaps someone with Trump or Harper bumper stickers on their expensive late model car...
