Gabriel Wortman : I was born July 5th 1968 and my parents got married December 16 1967...

Heck, when I was a kid, this sort of thing was the norm. Many such marriages eventually broke up, but equally, some stayed together forever - like Paul & Evelyn Wortman.

But what I find interesting is that basically on  young Gabriel’s 5th birthday , his uncle Alan was made an RCMP officer, in front of the Queen herself at the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Force : a really big show. A proud day for the entire Wortman family.

We might try tracing his fascination with mounties and guns to that date...
